1. About us

This website and the cleaning services described on it are provided by IPSWICHMAID LTD (trading as Ipswich Maid), company number 13749259, Registered in England and Wales. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean that company.

2. Using this website

The content on this site is provided for general information about our services. We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but it does not form part of any contract until a booking has been agreed with you. You may not copy or reuse the photographs on this site without our permission; they are photographs of our own work.

3. Quotes

No prices are published on this website. Every quote is given individually, based on the property and the work you would like carried out. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us; if the property or the work turns out to be materially different, we will discuss and agree any change with you before continuing.

4. Bookings

• A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the work, the date and the time with you.
• Regular cleaning can be arranged weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The agreed schedule can be changed by agreement between us.
• We work weekdays and weekends. We do not operate fixed opening hours; times are arranged with each customer.

5. Access and the working environment

• You are responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed time, along with running water and electricity.
• Please tell us in advance about anything fragile, valuable or particularly delicate, and about any surface that needs a specific product or must not be cleaned.
• We may decline or stop work where a property is unsafe to work in.

6. Cancellations and changes

Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking. If we need to change or cancel a visit, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time.

7. Payment

Payment terms are agreed with you at the time of booking, together with the quote.

8. Problems with the work

If you are not happy with any part of a clean, please tell us within 24 hours of the visit so we can look into it and put it right where we reasonably can. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for pre-existing wear, damage or defects in a property or its contents.

10. Your information

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
